Powell - Smith

Mr. and Mrs. David Powell of Blakely announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mischa Marie, to Anthony Lee Smith, son of Marilyn Smith of Leary and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith Jr. of Colquitt.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Williams, Mr. and Mrs. William Powell and greatgranddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Powell, all of Blakely, the late Rufus Lumpkin of Coleman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Boyd White of Bainbridge.

Miss Powell is a graduate of Early County High School and attends Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus. She will receive her bachelor of science in education in May 2008.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Grady Lee of Patmos and the late Louise Lee, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith Sr. of Boston, Ga.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of Calhoun County High School and is employed with Triangle Chemical Company of Albany as a chemical sales representative.

The ceremony will take place at First Baptist Church of Blakely March 29, 2008, at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
