Lucille Wall Retired Lucille Posey Wall, 89, of Blakely died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Early Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wall was born in Geneva County, Ala., May 23, 1918, to the late Jesse Green Posey and Julie Adkison Posey. She retired from Singletary Peanut Company and was a member of First Assembly of God and the Sunshine Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Releford Wall; one brother,Walter J. Posey; and four sisters, Addie Francis, Robbie Posey, Bonnie Johnson, and Ruby Roy. Survivors include two daughters, Katie Frances Wall Gordon of Blakely and Julia Elizabeth Wall Adkison and husband Othar of Blakely; one sister, Gracie Mae Craft of Blakely; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wayne Fussell and Kenneth E. Whitehurst officiating. Interment followed at Blakely Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Adkison, Chris Sumner, Steve Gordon, Craig Gordon, Danny Cowart and Ben Cooper.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
