Frances Hammack Homemaker Frances Sills Hammack, 81, of Ft. Gaines died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Ft. Gaines Nursing Home. Mrs. Hammack was born in Calhoun County Jan. 16, 1926, to the late Izell Sills and Daisy Sills. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. Hammack, and a son, Dan Rovertus Hammack. Survivors include a daughter, Laverne White and husband Franklin of Shellman; one brother, Izell Bee Sills and wife Sadie of Leary; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Williams and Rev. David Murphy officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Pallbearers were Jimmy Thompson, Sam Lovering, Kevin Lee, Danny Craft, Kirt Horne and Rev. David Murphy.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
