Veterans' Day Celebration at First United Methodist
Everyone is invited to the annual Veterans' Day Celebration Sunday, Nov. 11 at Blakely First United Methodist Church.
The celebration service will begin at 11 a.m. Blakely's own Will Wiley will be the featured soloist and Rev. Rick Turner, Blakely First Methodist pastor, will deliver the morning message.
Everyone is encouraged to visit a Wall of Honor at the
church
displaying photos of over 300 men and women from Early County and surrounding areas who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
All veterans present will be recognized during the service and are encouraged
to join the other men in the choir to sing patriotic songs.
"We hope to see you there," event coordinator Wally Robinson said. "We
promise you will be glad you came."
