ECHS homecoming week
2007 Homecoming Court

Bobcats of all ages will be busy this week as Homecoming 2007 activities fill the evenings.

The homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 Thursday, Nov. 1. Participants should line up in the ECHS parking lot at 4:30 p.m.

"We are the Champions," a special DVD highlighting the 1964 football state championship team will premiere at 7 p.m. at the ECHS cafeteria. Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased by contacting the Chamber of Commerce.

The homecoming show led by the ECHS choral department will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Mangham Auditorium and students will enjoy the traditional homecoming pep rally in the afternoon.

"Salute to the Stars," a special recognition ceremony and Bobcat spirit celebration, will begin at 7 p.m. at Standifer Field. The show will honor Bobcat alumni actively serving in the military, the five state championship teams, Bobcat All- Americans/retired jerseys and feature special music by ECHS alumni, including Nashville songwriter Joanna Smith.

Alumni cheerleaders interested in cheering at the homecoming game should meet at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium.

All-Americans and state championship athletes should meet at 6:45 behind the fieldhouse.
