Here's a novel idea! Well, maybe not. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record here, but when is someone going to wake up and try shifting Georgia's growth to where the resources are (that would be water, friendly people, water, communities hungry for a little growth, water, uncrowded roads, water, great quality of life, water, low cost of living, water, etc.). You say we don't have enough qualified workers? You ever heard of the Pied Piper? There are hordes of people who would love to get out of Atlanta. They will follow the jobs. How do you think they got to Atlanta metro in the first place? Long before the "water war" surfaced, State Representative Ralph Balkcom once told me... "They (read the powers in Atlanta) don't intend to allow any growth in Southwest Georgia. They intend to keep us dumb and happy because they know they are going to need our water." If we drop our guard during the coming General Assembly they will end up getting our water, too!
