Bethel Baptist

Bethel Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming services Sunday, Nov. 4 at 10:40 a.m. Bro. Slade Speir will be the speaker. The South Georgia Quartet will lead worship and provide special music. Dinner on the grounds will follow. Everyone is invited to attend.

Rosinvick M.B.

The Gospel Spirituals will present "They've Got the Word" Nov. 5 through Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church. Guest speakers include Rev. Alfred Starling, Tommy Washington, Adolf Nobles, Willie Ross and Solomon Lyles. Everyone is invited to attend.

Harmony Baptist

The pastor and members of Harmony Baptist Church invite you to attend Glory Day Celebration Nov. 4, kicking off the fall church growth campaign. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m., morning worship starts at 11 a.m. followed by dinner on the grounds. Music will be provided by the Rocky Ridge Quartet. Bring a meal, bring your family, bring a friend. The church is located at 49 Love St., one block north of the bypass off of South Main St. Wesley Chapel A.M.E.

Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will hold its annual "Say "no" to Halloween and "yes" to Jesus" fellowship Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join them for fun and good Christian learning. There will be a puppet show, Christian movies, arts and crafts and good food. The cost has already been paid. Costumes are not required. Greater Macedonia M.B.

Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their Usher's Anniversary, Sunday, Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

St. Mary's M.B.

St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church will have a gospel sing Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. with the Friendly Five, the Gospel Spirituals and the Williams Family. Everyone is invited to attend.

Colomokee Baptist

Colomokee Baptist Church will celebrate 118 years with homecoming services Sunday, Oct. 28. Dr. Jack B. Sammons of Canton, N.C., will bring the morning message. He is missions director for Haywood County Baptist Association serving over 50 churches.

Dr. Sammons and his wife, Joan Clark Sammons, are Blakely natives and look forward to seeing many of their family and friends.

The Sunday school hour begins at 9:45 a.m. and the worship hour begins at 11 a.m. A covered dish luncheon will follow. Everyone is invited to attend.
