Pataula Center's Golf Tournament plays out successfully

Pataula Center for Children hosted its first annual golf tournament at Crooked Oak Golf Course in Miller County on Sept. 27. A total of 14 teams participated in the tournament. The winners for the first flight were: first place, J.D. Murkerson, Bart Elliot, and Tony Blocker; and second place, Craig Earnest, Hugh Franklin, and Chris Henderson. The second flight winners were: first place, Brent Hixon, Sonny Taylor, and Joey Moore; and second place, Greg Beatty, Gary Richardson, and Jerry Jones. The third flight winners were: first place, Brock Middleton, Gaylon Harrell, and Lee Bostick; and second place, Tubby Dancer, Tony Everson, and Joel Josey.
