Kirsten Elyse Carpenter has been chosen to compete for the title of Miss Georgia USA 2008 in Cartersville Nov. 8-10. Kirsten's title is Miss Paulding County USA.
Kirsten is the daughter of David and Joy Ryan of Dallas, Ga. and Leon and Nicole Carpenter of Columbia, Ala.
She is a freshman at Valdosta State University where she is majoring in mass communication. Her grandparents are Cecil Love and Winona Love, both of Blakely, Curtis and Charlotte Carpenter of Columbia, and Phyllis Carpenter of Headland.
