CHURCH NEWS Bright Star Bright Star Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their Family and Friends Day Sunday, Oct. 21 at noon. Everyone is invited to attend. New Hope Baptist New Hope Baptist Church will host their October Festival Saturday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy games for all and a hay ride. Liberty Assembly Liberty Assembly of God will be having Homecoming services Sunday, Oct. 21. Pastor Billy Garrett Jr. will be the guest speaker. Dinner on the grounds will be served at noon and local talent will be singing after lunch. Everyone is invited to attend. Sowhatchee Baptist Sowhatchee Baptist Church will host their 96th homecoming service Sunday, Oct. 21 at 10:30 a.m. with the Hymn Master's Quartet singing, followed by the message. A covered dish lunch will follow. Everyone is invited to attend. Jerusalem A.M.E. Jerusalem African Methodist Episcopal Church will host their annual pew rally Sunday, Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Calvin Reynolds will be the speaker. Everyone is invited to attend. Faith Holiness Faith Holiness Church of Edison will celebrate a "100 Women in White" service Sunday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. The guest speaker is Minister Ethel Lovett. Everyone is invited to attend.
