GED recognition

The Early County Literacy Task Force will host a GED recognition ceremony tomorrow, Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Early County Middle School cafeteria. The ceremony will recognize Early County students who have received their GED within the past three years.

Because the actual graduation ceremonies are held at Albany Techenical College in Albany or at Bainbridge College in Bainbridge, many local graduates are unable to attend. The Literacy Task Force provides the recognition ceremony as an opportunity for those students to be recognized in their own community.

Friends and family are also invited to attend.
