Movie casting

The filming of " The Lena Baker Story," a story about the first black woman executed in the United States will begin later this month in Southwest Georgia, produced and directed by Ralph Wilcox of Jokara-Micheaux Studio in Colquitt.

Casting Call!

Local residents interesting in trying out for a part in the movie are encouraged to attend a casting call Friday at the Jokara-Micheaux Studio located at 263 Phillips St. in Colquitt. The casting will begin at 6 p.m.

Persons are being sought to fill the following roles: Black male, age 5-9; Black male age 7-11; Black female age 5-8; Black female (3) age 40-60; White male age 9-13.
