Oct. 18 GED recognition ceremony
The Early County Literacy Task Force will host a GED recognition ceremony Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Early County Middle School cafeteria. The ceremony will recognize Early County students who have received their GED within the last three years.
Because the actual graduation ceremonies are held in Albany or Bainbridge, many local graduates are unable to attend. The Literacy Task Force provides the recognition ceremony as an opportunity for those students to be recognized in their own community.
Graduates interested in participating should call 723-5122 by Oct. 9. Friends and family are also invited to attend.
