A resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Early County, Georgia, providing for the adoption by insertion to the Code of Ordinances of Early County, Georgia, an amendment providing for the uniform and comprehensive regulating of mobile homes and travel trailers within the unincorporated areas of Early County, Georgia; to provide for the granting, denial, suspension and revocation of the certification of same; and penalties for violations and for other purposes will be presented for adoption at the regular October 1, 2007 meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Early County, Georgia.

The public is invited to present its comments to the Board. A copy of the proposed ordinance is filed with the Clerk of the Superior Court of Early County, Georgia and the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of Early County, Georgia.

090507-01 NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER

STATE OF GEORGIA,

COUNTY OF EARLY

Because of default in the payment of the indebtedness secured by the Notes and Deed to Secure Debt from TINA MARIE LETSON AND HUSBAND, STEVEN WAYNE LETSON to FIVE STAR FEDERAL CREDIT CREDIT UNION, dated November 18, 1996, and recorded in Deed Book 209, Page 200, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Early County, Georgia, the holder thereof, pursuant to the Deed and Notes thereby secured, has declared the entire amount of said indebtedness due and payable.

Pursuant to the power of sale contained in said Notes, will on the first Tuesday in October, 2007, during the legal hours of sale, before the Courthouse door in said County sell at public outcry to the highest bidder in cash, the property described in said Deed to Secure Debt, to-wit:

A certain tract of land containing 1.505 acres, more or less, being part of Lot of Land No. 305 in the 26th Land District of Early County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as follows: to establish a beginning point, start at the Northeast corner of said Lot No.305 and run thence South 00 degrees 10 minutes East along the East lot line of said Lot No. 305 a distance of 990 feet and thence south 89 degrees 50 minutes West 230 feet to the center of a dirt road and the point of beginning ,and from said beginning point run thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes East along the center of said road 290. 31 feet; thence run South 51 degrees 56 minutes West along the center of said road 81.20 feet; thence run North 38 degrees 04 minutes West 431.07 feet; thence run North 89 degrees 50 minutes East 329.20 feet to the beginning point. Subject to the portion of right-of-way of said dirt road lying within the boundaries of said tract of land. Said tract is shown on a plat dated September 21, 1979, and recorded in Deed Book 124, Page 18, Early County Deed Records, which plat and the record thereof are by reference incorporated in this description. There is included in this conveyance the irrevocable but non-exclusive right to the use of said road as a means of ingress and egress to and from said tract of land said road leading Northerly to Sheffield's Mill Road and to be kept open and unobstructed.

All oil, gas and mineral rights not heretofore conveyed or reserved are hereby conveyed, but no warranty of title is made as to said rights.

The sale will be held subject to all unpaid taxes, assessments, mineral and oil rights, easements and restrictions of record.

Notice has been given of intention to collect attorney's fees in accordance with the terms of the Notes.

Said property will be sold as the property of TINA MARIE LETSON AND HUSBAND, STEVEN WAYNE LETSON, the property to the best information, knowledge and belief of the undersigned, being presently in his possession. The proceeds of said sale will, be applied to the payment of said indebtedness and all the expenses of said sale, including attorney's fees, all as provided in said Security Deed, and the balance, if any, will be distributed as provided by law.

The sale will be conducted subject (1) to confirmation that the sale is not prohibited under the U. S. Bankruptcy Code and (2) to final confirmation and audit of the status of the loan with the holder of the security deed.

TAX LEVY FOR EARLY COUNTY,

GEORGIA FOR THE YEAR 2007 GEORGIA, EARLY COUNTY

By Richard Ward, F.C. Wiggins, Jody Glass, Perry Jarrett, and Hank Jester constituting a quorum of the duly elected, appointed and qualified Board of Commissioners of Early County, Georgia, sitting for county purposes:

IT IS ORDERED that Ninety Four & Six Tenths (94.6) cents on the one hundred dollars, or Nine & Forty Six Hundredths (9.46) mills on the dollar of taxable property in the incorporated areas of Early County, Georgia, as shown by the Tax Digest of said county for the year 2007, be, and the same is hereby, levied, and it is ordered that the same be collected by the Tax Commissioner of Early County, Georgia, ad valorem, upon all of the property subject to taxation in said incorporated areas in said county for county purposes.

FURTHER ORDERED that Ninety & Five Tenths (90.5) cents on the one hundred dollars, or Nine & Five Hundredths (9.05) mills on the dollar of taxable property in the unincorporated areas of Early County, Georgia, as shown by the Tax Digest of said county for the year 2007, be, and the same is hereby, levied, and it is ordered that the same be collected by the Tax Commissioner of Early County, Georgia, ad valorem, upon all of the property subject to taxation in said unincorporated areas in said county for county purposes. These figures reflect the rollback of the unincorporated area millage to account for the insurance premium amount collected, said rollback being in the amount of Forty One Hundredths (.41) mills. Of the $266,951 total insurance premium received by Early County for 2006, $135,250 is allocated to provide fire protection service to the unincorporated areas of the county and $131,701 is used to rollback the millage rate.

IN ADDITION to the above and foregoing levies, upon the certification of the Board of Education of Early County, Georgia, there is hereby levied upon all taxable property of and in Early County, Georgia, a tax of Thirteen & Fifty Hundredths (13.50) mills on the dollar of its valuation for tax purposes, said levy being made for the purpose of maintaining and operating the public schools of Early County, Georgia.

IT IS ORDERED that the above and foregoing tax levies, in the amounts and for the purposes stated, be made, and the same be collected by the Tax Commissioner of Early County, Georgia, for the year 2007.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this tax levy be advertised for thirty (30) days at the County Courthouse of Early County, Georgia, in Blakely, Georgia, and be published in the Early County News, the official organ of Early County, Georgia, once a week for four weeks over a period of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, and that a certified copy of this tax levy be furnished to the Tax Commissioner of Early County, Georgia.

FURTHER ORDERED that a certified copy of this tax levy be forwarded with the 2007 Early County, Georgia, Tax Digest to the State Revenue Commissioner of the State of Georgia, as required by law, for consideration by that official toward approval of said Tax Digest and this tax levy.

THE ABOVE AND FOREGOING TAX LEVIES FOR THE YEAR 2007 are ordered and adopted by the affirmative vote of the undersigned members of the Board of Commissioners of Early County, Georgia, at a special meeting of said Board of Commissioners held this 19th day of September, 2007, which meeting was open to the public.

NOTICE GEORGIA, EARLY COUNTY PROBATE COURT TO: Whom It May Concern

Gina Amanda Bynum has petitioned to be appointed Administrator of the estate of Fred Bynum, deceased, of said County. (The petitioner has also applied for waiver of bond and/or grant of certain powers contained in O.C.G.A. §53- 12-232.) 092607-04 PUBLIC NOTICE The Southwest Georgia Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is accepting proposals for the delivery of intensive services under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker programs as specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The services under procurement target the specific Southwest Georgia counties of Colquitt and Worth. The approximate level of Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding available is $100,000 for Adult and $75,000 for Dislocated Worker. Bidders must submit proposed services for both Colquitt and Worth counties and both program categories of Adult and Dislocated Worker.

The application can be presented under an agreement of several community partners or agencies, or by a single entity. Applications will be accepted from non-profits and/or private, for profits.
