NEW YORK CITY??!!!! Say what you want about New York City, but they didn't let the bastard visit the site of the Twin Towers. News pundits, politicians and experts had a lot to say about the blunder by the Columbia University president. The following sums the situation up for me: "Only an idiot can interpret this publicity stunt as a victory for American freespeech values." Here are a few other things to worry about... The immigration problem is not going to get fixed anytime soon, probably never. If you've ever wondered why the politicians, from Bush on down, are so mushy on the issue of border security there are a few things you need to learn more about. Things like the NAFTA Super Highway, the Security and Prosperity Partnership which will effectively "erase" the borders between the U.S. Mexico and Canada, effectively creating a North American Union. Those terms are capitalized here because they are already being implemented. Where are the bloodhounds of the national media when we need them? For the most part they are too busy trying to nurture the partisan divide in our country. And there is nothing partisan about the North American Union. It has swallowed up Democrats and Republicans alike. Closer to home... Don't take your eye off the ball! It ain't about tax reform. That's a smokescreen and Richardson's launching pad for the next gubernatorial race.
