ECES honored by Kathy Cox Early County Elementary School will be honored by State Superintendent Kathy Cox Oct. 6. ECES has been named a Title One Distinguished School for the second year in a row. ECES has made Adequate Yearly Progress as defined by No Child Left Behind for four consecutive years. This would not be possible without the hard work of our students and dedicated support of parents and the community. Orders for t-shirts similar to the ones issued to staff members at the beginning of the school year are now being taken. These shirts will read: "I helped in Achieving Four Years Of Perfection."
These shirts will be available to students, parents and community members. Orders will be taken until October 4. The shirts will be $10 for standard sizes. Orders can be placed at ECES. For more information call 723-4101.
