Louie Lee Henderson, 82, of Blakely died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007.

Mr. Henderson was born in Blakely to the late Woodie Henderson and Anne Lee Henderson. He was employed at Early County Food Service, City of Blakely and Blakely Peanut Company, from which he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorthy Henderson, Rose Henderson and Nelma Ofton; one sister, Essie Mae Robinson; and one brother, Mike Henderson.

Survivors include six daughters, Mary Jean Mosely of Quincy, Fla., Jennifer Allen, Tammie Grier and husband James, Rachel Coleman and husband Morris, Helen Ofton and Priscilla Ofton, all of Blakely; and 13 sons, Bill Allen of New York, Louis Lee Henderson Jr. of PavenPort, Fla., Willie C. Henderson and Kenneth Allen, both of Halendale, Fla., Johnny Williams and wife Peggy of Edison, Donnie Williams and wife Shelfae of Arlington, Jimmy King, Robert King and wife Alma, Jeffrey Wade Darion Henderson, Tyrone Ofton and wife Franscia, Allen King and wife Jennifer, Tony Ofton and Willie King, all of Blakely; one sister, Marion McClendon of Blakely; several grandchildren including Lashanda Henderson and Jessica Jackson; and several greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.Willie J. Kegler officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Allen King, Michael King, Robert King, Randy Allen and Morris Hayes.

Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
