Pittman receives Troy scholarship
      During a recent ceremony on the Dothan Campus, the Troy University Alumni Association Wiregrass Chapter presented Blakely native, Mia Pittman with a $1,500 scholarship. In all, the alumni association handed out awards totaling $10,500 to nine Dothan Campus students.

      The midget boys all-star The tournament was in team from Early County played in the southern divided district tournament. Blakely June 18 through June 23. The 11-12 team won their first game Monday against Brooks County by the score of 7-0.
