Martha Robinson Housekeeper Martha Jane Hudson Robinson died July 21, 2007. Mrs. Robinson was born in Early County, Nov. 23, 1940, to the late Duncan Hudson and Mary Hudson. She was a member of Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Robinson. Survivors include four sons, Charles Hudson of Alaska, Wesley Robinson of Donalsonville, Jimmy Robinson and wife Bernice of Arlington and Derek Robinson and wife Cathedra Houston of Damascus; one brother,Will Hudson and wife Helen of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Julia Mae Abron of Edison, N.J. and Vota Williams of Bainbridge; one daughterin law, Linda Hudson of Blakely; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, July 29, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Damascus with Rev. Edward Williams officiating. Interment followed at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfonzo Collier, Willie Collier, Michael Collier, Charles Ricks and Henry Ricks.
Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
