Trivia "bee"
Love Trivial Pursuit? How about Jeopardy? Then get your team together and register for the Early County Literacy Task Force Community Trivia Bee.
Scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Mangham Auditorium, the Trivia Bee is a fundraiser and awareness campaign for literacy needs and resources in Early County.
Composed of three-person adult teams, the bee is conducted in rounds and will cover a variety of topics. Any business, civic group or citizens may pay the entrance fee to participate. All proceeds from the event are donated to literacy efforts in Early County, including the Lonnie B. Chester Scholarship for a ECHS senior majoring in education, the Adult Education/GED Program and Bingo for Books which promotes family literacy.
