St. John Freewill Baptist Church at Sandy Bottom will have their annual youth revival July 23 through July 27 at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Earl Hallman is the evangelist for the week. Everyone is invited to attend. Arlington Baptist Arlington Baptist Church will have a grief support group meeting Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the pastor's office. This meeting is for anyone who has lost a spouse to death. For more information, contact Jimmy Worsley at 725-4752. Arms of Faith M.B. Arms of Faith Missionary Baptist Church will have their youth jamboree Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m. with a cookout immediately afterward. Everyone is invited to attend. Allen Chapel A.M.E. Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will host the Georgia, Florida and Alabama singing union Sunday, July 29 at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Southside Baptist Tom Anderson of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan will be the guest speaker at Southside Baptist Church during revival Sunday, July 29 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. God called him to preach in 1970 after which he attended Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, Fla. Bro. Tom has preached throughout the south and Ohio, New York, Montana, Alaska, Brazil, Africa, England, Wales and Venezuela. Tom is being used to preach in many churches and associations sharing his heart for real revival and missions. He has led Mt. Gilead to be one of the most mission minded churches in Alabama. Southside Baptist Church invites the public to attend their revival services. Greater Macedonia Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their 30th homecoming Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 5 at the regular Sunday service at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Shiloh M.B. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church will have their annual family and friends day Sunday, Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m. They are also hosting revival services Aug. 13 through Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Solomon Lyles Jr., the pastor of New Zion Hill Baptist Church in Albany, will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend. Chattahoochee River B.A. The Chattahoochee River women's conference will be held Saturday, August 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chattahoochee River Baptist Association building on Highway 37 in Fort Gaines. Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church iwill host a youth explosion at the Blakely Civic Center Tuesday, August 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a motivational speaker, liturgical dancers, gospel DJ and other entertainment. Everyone is invited to attend. I have really enjoyed all of the birthday wishes and ecards, snail mail and phone calls. Hey, I even got a spot in the paper. You have made my birthday a great one.
