Juanita Harper Owner/Operator Juanita Hunt Harper, 93, of Colquitt died Monday, July 23, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Harper was born in Early County December 1913, to the late William Charlton Hunt and Lelia Martin Hunt. She was a member of White Pond Free Will Baptist Church and the former owner and operator of Harper Grocery. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Harper; one daughter, Joy Phillips; one son-inlaw, Joe Powell; and one great-grandson, Justin Calhoun. Survivors include one son, Dr. William Ferrell Harper and wife Becky of St. Simons Island; one daughter, Johnnie Marilyn Powell of Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be today, Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Blakely Cemetery with Elder W.H. Phillips officiating.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
