Classroom supply list for elementary students

The items on this supply list are needed for Early County Elementary School students for the 2007-2008 school year based on the students grade level and class enrollment. Questions should be directed toward your student's teacher.

Kindergarten 1 bottle of glue 1 pair of scissors 2 boxes of crayons (no jumbo) 2 pocket folders w/brads 2 plastic pocket folders 1 box of eight washabl

markers Pencil box 1 10-pack of pencils 2 large erasers

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: quart or gallon zipper top bags, 2 boxes of facial tissue and 1 container of anti-bacterial spray or disinfectant.

First Grade 2 boxes of crayons Scissors Glue 2 packs of pencils

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate them: 2 liquid hand sanitizers and 2 boxes of facial tissue.

First Grade

Probe/ Challenge 1 box of washable markers

(fat or thin) 1 package of large erasers 1 package of pencil-top

erasers 1 five-subject composition

book 1 pencil pouch or supply bag

(no boxes) 1 small pack of black or blue

pens

Second Grade 3 one-subject composition

books 3 pocket folders w/ brads 2 boxes of No. 2 pencils 2 glue sticks 3 packs of notebook paper 1 pack of red or green pens

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: 2 bottles of hand sanitizer, 2 boxes of facial tissue, 2 boxes of wet wipes, 1 box of gallon zipper-top bags and 1 box of quart zipper top bags.

Second Grade

Probe/ Challenge

Parents and students are reminded not to buy supplies as teachers will notify parents about supplies at a later date.

Third Grade 3 folders w/brads 2 packs of notebook paper 1 bottle of glue 1 pack of No. 2 pencils 1 box of 16- or 24-count

crayons

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: 1 bottle of hand sanitizer and 1 box of facial tissue.

Third Grade

Probe/ Challenge 3 packs wide-ruled looseleaf

paper 1 box 16- or 24-count

crayons 1 box 24-count (or less)

colored pencils 1 box large markers

(basic colors) 2 glue sticks 1 pack of No. 2 pencils 1 large eraser 3 70-sheet composition

books 1 pocket folder w/ brads

The following items will be helpful if parents wish to donate them: 1 small dictionary, 1 box of facial tissue and $9 for science/social studies newspaper.

Fourth grade 2 one-inch three-ring binders

w/10 pocket dividers 1 box of colored pencils or

16- or 24-count crayons 4 packs of wide-ruled loose

leaf paper (150/200 count

packs) 6 three-pronged pocket

folders 24 No. 2 pencils 2 highlighters, any color.

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: 2 rolls of paper towel, 1 box of facial tissue, 1 bottle of liquid soap or hand sanitizer and 1 bottle of spray cleaner.

Fifth Grade 1 three-ring two-inch binder 8 packs of loose-leaf notebook

three-ring binder 1 12-pack No. 2 lead pencils 1 box 16- to 24-count

crayons 1 box 24-count colored

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: 1 handheld pencil sharpener with catch for pencil shavings, Webster pocket dictionary and thesaurus, 1 bottle of hand sanitizer, 1 box facial tissue, 1 box of one quart zipper bags, 1 box of one gallon zipper bags, 4 dry erase markers, 2 packs of 4x6 index cards and 1 cube (5-pack) 3x3 Post-It notes.

Accelerated Class

(fourth and fifth grade) 1 box of colored pencils and

crayons 4 packs of wide-ruled looseleaf

paper (150-200 count

packs) 24 No. 2 pencils 2 highlighters (any color)

The following items will be useful in the classroom if parents wish to donate them: 1 box facial tissue, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 bottle of hand sanitizer.

Parents are reminded that no scissors, rolling book bags or zipper binders are allowed in the accelerated class.

Probe Lab 6 sharpened No. 2 pencils

with erasers 4 mechanical pencils (preferably

with refillable lead) 1 12-pack of color pencils 1 glue stick 1 pair scissors 1 large eraser.

The following would be helpful if parents wish to donate: 1 three-ring zippered pencil holder or a gallon zipper-top bag to keep supplies in, no plastic boxes.
