Boyzell Reed Minister Boyzell Reed, 74, of Blakely died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Mr. Reed was born Oct. 6, 1932, to the late Will Reed and Leila Reed. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, a minister and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Alvina G. Reed; one son, Albert Lee Reed Sr. and wife Mary of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five daughters, Sarah Ann Allen and husband John D., Mary Jackson, Jollie Igles and husband Jerry Sr. and Beverly Ann Reed and husband Harry, all of Blakely, and Lillie Richardson and husband Anthony of Colquitt; two sisters-in-law, Sara Lee Powell of Blakely and Lena Hayes of Miami, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Powell and James Summerset, both of Blakely; 26 grandchildren; 52 greatgrandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cleveland Sanders officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Willie Allen, Johnny Reed, Kendrick Reed, Dexter Griffin, Marvin James and Steve Ofton. Honorary pallbearers were Willie Jackson, Jessie Summerset, Roy Summerset, Harold Summerset, David Reed and Lee Reed.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
