Houston - Childress
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Houston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Whitehurst, all of Jakin. Miss Houston is a 1994 graduate of Early County High School and a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida where she received her bachelor of arts in Christian counseling. She is pursuing her masters in social work with Valdosta State University. She is employed by Early County Department of Family and Children Services. The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Childress of Corinth, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Faircloth of Donalsonville. Mr. Childress is a 1984 graduate of Seminole County High School and a graduate of Albany State University where he received his masters in education. He is employed by Dollar General, Inc. as store manager.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin. No local invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
