Bankston- Smith
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Balkcom and the late Isaac Balkcom and Mildred Bankston and the late Lee L. Bankston. Miss Bankston is a 1995 graduate of Early County High and a 1999 graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University with a bachelor of business administration in accounting. She earned her masters of business administration in human resources from Walden University in 2006. She is employed with the Early County School System as a bookkeeper at the elementary school. The future bridegroom is the is the grandson of the late Robert and Bessie Smith of Blakely and Alvester McCoy of Albany. Mr. Smith is a 1991 graduate of Early County High and a 1993 graduate of South Georgia Technical College with an associate degree in welding. He is employed with Shaw Industries in Bainbridge as an industrial maintenance technician of 13 years.
The wedding is planned for September 1, 2007, at the Blakely Civic Center, at four o'clock in the afternoon. All family and friends are invited to share this special occasion.
