Web site story false, Crozier not dead Bending Spoon frontman, David Crozier of Blakely, is not dead. "I am very much alive," Crozier said on Tuesday. However, his Myspace pages and Web site have been telling a different story. Crozier said someone 'hijacked' his accounts and has been telling the false story of a motorcycle accident that took his life. "I've never even been in a motorcycle accident," Crozier said. The alleged hijacker is telling Bending Spoon fans that Crozier was on his motorcycle when an oil leak began. The back tire spun on the oil and caused a fatal accident. "And I ride motorcycles," Crozier explained. "That's why so many people are believing it." The message also has quotes from someone claiming to be Crozier's brother, but after the quote is a name that doesn't belong to his brother - Maddison. Crozier's only brother is named Wade. David Crozier said he regrets that his fans are being misled and is afraid of the possible backlash. "I'm sorry this has happened, but I have no control over my accounts," he said. Whoever has control of the accounts has also changed the password, therefore he can't close them.
Bending Spoon was set to begin a summer tour on July 15, but because of this confusion, Crozier isn't sure if it will take place now.
