James Ingram Owner/Operator James Lowell Ingram, 60, of Clay County died Friday June 8, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. His remains have been cremated. A life-long resident of Clay County at Sutton's Corner, Mr. Ingram owned and operated Sutton's Corner Store and was a maintenance supervisor of Early Cotton Gin. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John Brinson Ingram and his mother Mildred Perryman Ingram. He is survived by three daughters, Teri Medley and husband Gene of Georgetown, Traci Caldwell and husband Michael of Eufaula and Jillian Ingram, of Sutton's Corner; one brother John Timothy Ingram and wife Connie of Sutton's Corner; and five grandchildren, Wayne and Hailey Medley, and Maggie, Matthew and Caroline Caldwell. A memorial service was held at the Ingram family plot at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Clay County Division, P.O. Box 1201, Albany, GA 31702.
Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
