Bainbridge College The following Early County area students were among those recognized for membership in Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. Sasha Holmes of Arlington; Michelle Gormley of Edison; and Natasha Davis, Helen Fields, Petronia Mike, Ankita Patel, Teresa Price, Christy Shippee and Dolly Thomas all of Blakely. University of West Georgia

Students who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 on a minimum of 12 semester hours of college level courses in which grades A-F are given are placed on the dean's list for that semester.

Named to the dean's list from Blakely was Erica Shandrell McCoy.

Darton College

Carmen C. Lambert of Blakely made the dean's list at Darton College for the spring 2007 semester. To qualify, a student must be full time and have earned a 3.4 or higher grade point average.

Stephanie R. Benton and Sandy Hall made the merit list at Darton College for the spring 2007 semester. To qualify for the merit list a student must be part time and have earned a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Georgia Southwestern

Mysin Nicole Harris of Blakely graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University Saturday, May 5 with a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in management.

She received an associate of arts degree in business administration from Bainbridge College May 2005. Mysin was named to the academic achievement list for spring semester 2007. She is the daughter of Willie Pearl Harris and the late Willard Bailey.

Valdosta

Students named to the Spring 2007 dean's list at Valdosta State University include Lynsey Drew, Daniel Ragan, Rachel Waller and Amanda White, all of Blakely; April Williams of Bluffton; and Mackenzie Evans of Jakin.

To make the dean's list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and must have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 with at least nine hours of course work. Grade point averages are based on a 4.0 scale.

The following students were recognized as spring 2007 graduates from Valdosta State University.

April Nicole Williams of Bluffton, received a bachelor of business administration and marketing; and Kydie Sheffield Dean of Jakin received a bachelor of science in education for early childhood education.
