Agribusiness council to meet in Blakely The Georgia Agribusiness Council will hold one of nine state-wide membership rallies in Blakely Tuesday, June 12. The rally will be at Singletary Rock Mine from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. All attendees to each rally will have the opportunity to meet and interact with other industry and state leaders, interact with the GAC staff, receive a complimentary dinner and be involved in a very short program offered by the council on current industry issues. This rally is being held to meet with prospective members and honor current members of the council. All agribusiness and its leaders are invited to join the council Tuesday, June 12 for this great agribusiness gathering coming to the Blakely area to interact with other agribusiness colleagues, as well as to have the opportunity to see first-hand the resources offered by GAC. The council works everyday to see that agribusiness benefits from this organization. GAC is on the front line addressing issues that affect Georgia's very diverse agricultural industry through a variety of environmental resource management initiatives, tax relief opportunities, agricultural education programs and regulatory and legislative monitoring.
