Great summer programs planned at library

Don't miss Donna Washington at Lucy Hilton Maddox Memorial Library June 6 at 3 p.m. Washington's storytelling session kicks off six weeks of great summer programs at the library. She's followed by juggler Todd Key on Thursday, June 7 at 3 p.m.

Donna Washington has been sharing stories with audiences of all ages for over 14 years. Her dynamic vocal expression and physicality transport listeners to distant places and times. Washington presents stories from all over the world and many different cultures. She offers entertainment for all ages with stories sure to please everyone.

Readers and listeners still have time to sign up for the vacation reading club. Registration continues through June 14 and readers of all ages are invited to join. Readers who complete at least 20 books can earn a free back pack at summer's end. For more information concerning library programs, please call 723- 3079.
