Art and drama camps open to students

21st Century Community Learning Center has a few openings for art camp, June 18-21 at Early County Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Led by artist and Atlanta resident Karin Mervis, participants will be painting a canvas mural. Mervis is a native of South Africa and leads many community art camps and projects through out the year.

This camp is open to first through fifth grade (completed) students who live or attend school in Early County.

To register, call Family Connection FACES at 723- 5122. Registration deadline is June 1. There is no registration fee.

Missoula Children's Theatre will be back in town June 11-16. This year's production is the Pied Piper.

Auditions are Monday, June 11 at 8:30 a.m. at Mangham Auditorium. No preparation or experience is needed.

Rehearsals begin immediately following the audition and are held each day from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. There will be two performances Saturday, June 16.

Missoula is open to all first through twelfth grade (completed) students who live or attend school in Early County. Pre-registration is not required for Missoula and there is no cost.
