Emily Crumbley Bus Driver Emily Johnson Crumbley, 65, of Cartersville died Monday, May 14, 2007, at Cartersville Medical Center. Mrs. Crumbley was born in Blakely June 29, 1941, to the late Abner Jasper Johnson and Eunice Haye Johnson. She was a bus driver for the Bartow County School System and worked in the school lunchroom. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ginny Capps and Lucy Lane; and a brother, Gene Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Sherrie Cline and husband Cliff and Denise C. Curtis; two brothers, Bill Johnson and wife Cecilia and L.L. Johnson and wife Chris; one sister, Margaret Reddy and husband Deb; one sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson; one brotherin law, Howard Capps; and four grandchildren, Kayla Cline, Crystal Cline, Jeremy Curtis and Ashley Curtis. Funeral services were Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Towe and Rev. Quillian Millsap officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Marvin Cordell, Larry Lowe, Gerald Simpson, Wayne Hale, Daniel Cline and Herman Redd.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home of Cartersville was in charge of arrangements.
