Fatal wreck on Five Bridges Road

A Blakely man died early Tuesday morning in a single car accident on Five Bridges Road in Early County.

Donell J. Ash-Shaheed, 21, was killed when the driver of the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix in which he was riding lost control, veering off the left shoulder of the road, stiking a tree and overturning.

The driver of the vehicle, 23 year-old Tetesha Brown, was treated at Early Memorial hospital and released. A second passenger,

18 year-old Jeremy Wright was transported to a Dothan hospital.

Ash-Shaheed was a back seat passenger at the time of the accident. None of the subjects were ejected from the vehicle which came to rest on its top.

GSP Trooper John Jackson conducted the investigation at the scene of the wreck. The accident is under further investigation by the GSP Special Accident Reconstruction Team of Valdosta.
