Price, Waller advance to nationals

Cliff Price and Tripp Waller will travel to Chicago to compete at the National Leadership Convention.
Early County High School's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America traveled to the University of Georgia to compete in various events at the FBLA State Leadership Conference March 17.

The trip was filled with leadership activities and intense competition. Cliff Price and Tripp Waller, who placed first in region, placed second at the State Leadership Conference at UGA.

The two-man team competed in E-Business. EBusiness is a competitive event in which the team had to design and build an e-commerce website capable of offering online shopping to its customers.

The second place accomplishment secured advancement to the National Leadership Competition in Chicago June 28. They will be competing against the top teams in the United States in the E-Business competition.

Rebecca Conner, Toie Hicks, Jeremee Johnson, Robert Graham, Alissa Woods, Jennifer Cunningham, Brittany Adair, Rachel Pyle, Katlain Anglin and Casey Schaffer also competed and attended the various leadership sessions.
