Bruce B. Butler Janitor Bruce Bernard Butler, 42, of Newark, N.J., died March 28, 2007, at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Butler was born June 21, 1964, to Lonnie Clyde Butler Sr. and the late Daisy Mae Butler. He was a 1981 graduate of Early County High School and he was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Earl Butler. Survivors include his wife, Aletha Bolden Butler; three children, Kendall Collins and wife Bridget and Latisha Sampson, both of Blakely, and Bruce B. Butler II of Newark, N.J.; his parents, Lonnie Clyde Butler and wife Mary; eight sisters, China Shorter and husband Frank, Sandra Butler, Juana Timpson, Angela Rogers, Melissa Sol and husband Bobby, Annette Bradley, Stephanie Butler and Crystal Butler, all of Blakely; two brothers, Lonnie C. Butler Jr. and wife Mammie of Dothan and Ron Butler and wife Tina of South Carolina.. Funeral services were Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 2 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with A. Jones Harris officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
