Kindergarten registration planned Early County Elementary Kindergarten open registration will be at the Pre-K building May 3 for resident students and May 4 for nonresident students. The following records are needed in order to register a child for the 2007-2008 school year: information sheet (to be filled out by parent); birth certificate; Social Security card; Georgia certificate of immunization (form 3231): hearing, vision and dental screening (EED form 3300); and proof of residence. For open registration you will need to bring the child and required records during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon or 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for placement testing. Open registration is for students who are not already enrolled in Early County Elementary School.
If you have any questions, please contact the elementary school at 229-724-5378. Your help is needed to insure that your child can begin the 2006-2007 school year on time. No child will be registered without the required records. Only children who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2007, are eligible.
