Storeys celebrate 50th anniversary

Jim and Sally Storey
Jim and Sally Storey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children and grandchildren Saturday, March 15 at Blakely First United Methodist Church Social Hall. A large crowd of family and friends were there to join the couple in their celebration.

Jim and Sally were married March 22, 1957, in Tifton and moved to Blakely in 1973 when Jim joined the Early County Sheriff 's Department.

They have three children, Pat Storey and wife Penny, Craig Storey and wife Tammy and Angie Wilson and husband Bruce.

Their four grandchildren are Natalie and Andrew Storey, Josh Storey and Collin Wilson.

Jim retired after 38 years in law enforcement and Sally retired from Dixie Shooters after 22 years, but still works parttime at Blakely First United Methodist Church.
