IN MEMORY
Bro. Wiggins departed this earthly life peacefully March 9, 2007, at the age of 82. He leaves behind his wife, Gloria Francis Wiggins; one step-daughter, Sandra Pointer; two sons, Andrew J. Wiggins III and Eugene J. Wiggins. One son preceded him death, Carl J. Wiggins. He also leaves many other relatives and friends. Bro. Wiggins' military life paralleled his civilian and spiritual lives. As a marine in the military, he valiantly battled to save lives and fought for our country's peace. But as a Christian in spiritual warfare, he battled to save souls, and he was the consummate peacemaker in times of conflict. He was a consecrated crusader, always on Godly maneuvers, preaching and teaching the word from coast to coast and recruiting lost souls from the United States to Japan. We will miss his wise counsel, his genuine pastor's heart, his God-fearing, dedicated, humble yet courageous way of doing things. He always saw the lighter and positive side of things. We have the assurance that we shall see him again. "This mortal must put on immortality ... Death is swallowed up in victory," 1 Corinthians 15: 53-54. We say goodbye to "a hard fighting soldier."
