Mary Jane Herring Homemaker Mary Jane Herring, 75, of Phenix City, Ala., died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Herring was born in Monroe, Tenn., August 17, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Herring; and one daughter,Wilma Herring. Survivors include three sons, James Herring and wife Beverly of Phenix City, Marvin Herring and wife Donna of Columbus and Marshall Herring and wife Cindy of Eufaula; four daughters, Ellen Hughes of Phenix City, Diane Smith and husband Clarence of Arlington, Linda Dansby and husband Rex of Phenix City and Teressa Herring of Phenix City; one sister, Roxie Snellgrove of Phenix City; 21 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Blakely Cemetery with Rev. Wilbur Holmes officiating.
Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
