      10 YEARS AGO March 27, 1997 THE 1,017-acre Shackleford Williams Preserve, located in southwest Early County bordering the Chattahoochee River, was donated to the Nature Conservancy of Georgia by Myrtle Williams in honor of her husband, the late John H.Williams.
