McVay - Lane
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Taylor of Miami, Fla., the late Winslow McVay of Edgewater, Fla., and the late Doris Johnson McVay of St Petersburg, Fla. Miss McVay is a 2002 graduate of McEachern High School and a 2006 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She is currently employed by Southern Company Generation in Atlanta as a design engineer. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Smith of Blakely, Juanita Lane of Atlanta, and the late Garland Lane Sr. of Donalsonville. Mr. Lane is a 2001 graduate of Early County High School and a 2006 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is currently pursuing his juris doctor at the University of Georgia School of Law.
The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. August 4, 2007, at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens at the Day Chapel. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
