Jerry L. DeMott Jerry Lyndon "Jay" DeMott, 40, of Blakely died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007. Mr. Demott was born Nov. 1, 1966, to Jerry and Judy DeMott of Valdosta. He was employed at Dixie Shooters. Survivors, other than his parents, include his wife, Monica of Blakely; one son, Dylan of Canton, Ga.; one sister, Nikki Yarbrough and husband Bobby of Valdosta; and one brother, Mark DeMott and wife Amy of Orlando. Additional survivors are three nieces, Taylor and Sarah DeMott of Orlando and Maddie Yarbrough of Valdosta. Funeral services are Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Valdosta. The family will received friends at the church from 2 p.m. until service time on Thursday.
