Lonnie Oliver
Master Carpenter

Lonnie C. Oliver Sr., 65, of Perry, Fla., died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007.

A native of Hilton, Ga., Mr. Oliver had lived in Perry for the past 29 years, after moving from Blakely. He was a member of Antioch Revival Center in Perry and a self-employed master carpenter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Lee "Buddy" Oliver and Buster "Mickey" Oliver Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Walker and husband Keith of Perry and Johnna Cone of Dothan; one son, Lonnie "Lon" C. Oliver Jr. and wife Alayna of Dothan; one sister, Corene Dodson of Headland, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Interment was at 3 p.m. in Blakely Cemetery.

Joe P. Burns Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
