David J. Herring David J. Herring, 57, of Blakely died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at his home. Mr. Herring was born in Early County, Oct. 11, 1955, to the late Rev. J.W. Herring and Dora Warren Herring. He was a member of Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, Willie James Herring and wife Sandy of Fayetteville, N. C.; one sister, Amy Herring and Jackie Wade of Blakely; three nephews, James Kimble of Blakely, Willie James Herring Jr. and Terrance Williams of Fayetteville, N.C.; and one niece, Kendra Williams of Fayetteville, N.C. Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cleveland Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Rosinvick Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Johnny Jones, Johnny Hightower, Darrell Ceaser, Jimmy Jones, Tyrone Lindsey, and Tracey Lindsey.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
