ConAgra is recalling jars of Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter that is contaiminated with salmonella. Nearly 300 cases in 39 states have resulted from the affected product, 20% of which resulted in hospitalization for the consumer, though no deaths have occured. Consumers are advised to check the product code on their jars of Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter and dispose of any and all jars that begin with the code "2111." A contaiminated jar was found in the cabinets of a local family.
