Wright-Alexander vows spoken

Mr. and Mrs. Alexander
Ansley Renee' Wright and Joshua Jarrett Alexander of Fitzgerald were united in marriage Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at a small private ceremony at Westview Methodist Church in Blakely. Rev. Jim Burgess and Rev. Lloyd Stembridge officiated the two o'clock ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Wright Jr. of Blakely. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Wright Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace W. Cleveland, all of Blakely.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Alexander of Fitzgerald. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Alexander of Darien, Ga., Myrtyle M. Morgan of Dallas, Ga., the late Farrell W. Brown of Dallas, Ga., and the late L.G. Morgan of Dallas, Ga.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Tommy Wright, in a double ring ceremony. The bride was given the groom's great-grandmother's wedding band. A program of wedding music was presented by Sharon Hunt, pianist. As their first act as husband and wife, the couple took part in the Holy Communion, which was also shared by both families. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Wright Jr. were hosts of a reception held at the bride's home.

The couple will reside in Quantico, Va., for one year due to military training at the Marine Officer Candidate School. A wedding celebration and reception will be held at a later date for all family and friends to attend.
