Spelling Bee winners
The Early County School System spelling bee was Feb. 5 at the Early County Middle School Media Center. Top spellers are, from left, fourth-grader Hannah Strickland, second place; eighth grader Ashley Smith, first place and sixth-grader Lindsey Smith, third place. Winner Ashley Smith will represent Early County at regional competition.
