State Rep. Gerald Greene, right, a member of the powerful Appropriations Committee, visited with Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin to discuss proposed legislation that could come before the General Assembly this year.

Greene, a Cuthbert retired educator, reviewed issues and legislation that would help promote the state's number one industry, agriculture, in world markets.
