Charity Golf Tournament
Church Challenge Cup

First United Methodist Church will host the first annual Church Challenge Cup golf tournament Feb. 24 at the Blakely Town and Country Club.

All golfers from local and surrounding churches are invited to participate. It doesn't matter the size of the church or the size of the team - even a

single golfer. Golfers of all skill levels - scratch to 30+ handicappers - can participate. This will be a handicap net team

tournament. This will be a family event with husband-wife, father-son or mother-daughter teams all welcome

to join in the fun. Each

church team will have a designated

charity. The proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the winning team's designated charity.

There will be "shotgun" starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Lunch will be served and prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin and more. Entry fee is $40 per golfer. The fee includes includes $20 for golf, $5 for lunch and $15 for the church charity. The field will be limited to the first 88 entrants.

Registration forms are available at Country Club pro shop, Chamber of Commerce, First Methodist Church and Early County News. If you would like a registration form sent to you, contact Blakely First United Methodist Church at 723-3069.
